Actions and Progress
CONTINUAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT
The company is expanding its use of internationally certified management systems like ISO 14001 and ISO 22000. These third-party certifications provide structured processes to control environmental impact and food waste across production sites, while underpinning the company’s integrated approach to risk management, food safety, and sustainability.Together with ongoing internal audits, customer reviews, and third-party certification processes, these frameworks guarantee consistent operational excellence and reinforce our dedication to global best practices.
DO & CO New Sustainable Sourcing Policy
Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment
In FY2025/2026, DO & CO completed its first full Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment across 22 selected operational sites and a value chain portfolio of 16 commodity and airport assets. For own operations, the assessment combines site-specific hazard exposure scores with unit-level vulnerability assessments to produce a net risk score for each location, scenario, and time horizon. The CRVA as a whole formed the basis for DO & CO’s first round of climate resilience analysis across both own operations and the value chain.
DO & CO | Beyond
Supplier Due Diligence Programme
Project Beyond establishes a structured supplier due diligence approach across key agricultural commodities and high-risk sourcing regions. The initiative introduces risk-based supplier prioritization, policy compliance assessments, and integration of due diligence insights into procurement decisions. It also creates a centralized, verified supplier data system covering sustainability performance, certification status, geographic origin, and commodity classification.The objective is to enable improved traceability, data quality, and scalable due diligence across the business. Launch is planned for business year 2026/27.
EXPANDING REUSABLE TAKEAWAY PACKAGING
From the initial introduction at the SAP Garden Events Center in Munich, DO & CO has worked to reduce the use of single-use food serviceware by implementing reusable alternatives. The first project at SAP Garden achieved 85% reusable snack packaging and 100% reusable cups. This approach has now been expanded to DO & CO lunchrooms in Vienna, supported by the reusable packaging provider RECUP.

Overall Net-Zero Target
DO & CO AG commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by FY2040 from a FY2022 base year.
Near-Term Targets
- Reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by FY2030.
- Reduce absolute Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by FY2030.
- Reduce Scope 3 FLAG emissions by 35% by FY2030.
- Achieve no deforestation across primary deforestation-linked commodities by 31 December 2025.
